Valley University of Science and Technology (VUST) has reached yet another milestone!
We are proud to announce that VUST officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Higher Education Students’ Financing Department under the Ministry of Education and Sports on 20th May 2026.
This landmark agreement now enables our prospective students especially those pursuing STEM courses to access the Government Higher Education Students’ Loan Scheme.
The signing ceremony took place at the offices of the Higher Education Students’ Financing Department, where the Commissioner, CPA Michael O. Wabyama, applauded VUST for meeting the required National Standards and successfully acquiring its Charter. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to quality education and Institutional excellence.
The VUST delegation was led by the Academic Registrar, Dr. Deusdedit Byabashaija, who emphasized that this partnership will greatly enhance access to higher education for many deserving Ugandan students.
This development opens new doors for students who have the potential but face financial constraints ensuring that no dream is left behind.
